 CAMPAIGN PROMISES KEPT: KSHA MEMBER REPRESENTING IDAH EMPOWERS CONSTITUENTS.



Just as he promised during his campaign as he dialogue with his people and as a way of always staying in touch with his Constituents, Hon. Adejo Usman Halidu (Halidu Kogi) promised that as soon as he is sworn in as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly that he will start empowering some of his Constituents ward by ward on a monthly basis.



 Today being 13th July 2023, Hon. Halidu Kogi having received his first salary kept to his promise as he gathered his Constituents from Sabongari ward, thanked them for their enormous support and promised to carry them along in all his doings and at the same time he gave some of the less privileged of them cash token as a form of empowerment just as he promised during his campaign, he also stated that it will be a monthly program as next month he would move to another ward and it will continue like that till he must have moved round the ten wards of Idah Local Government.



Many of his Constituents from Sabongari ward were full of joy as they express their heart felt gratitude to Hon. Halidu Kogi saying they have not seen this kind of empowerment before, they urge him to keep it up as they shall continue to pray Almighty God continue to bless, guide and protect him as he continues on his legislative duties.

ALHAJI MURITALA YAKUBU AJAKA WAS INDEED A STUDENT OF BAREWA COLLEGE.

Barewa College, Zaria Kaduna State has confirmed that Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka was indeed a student of the school.  Reaching to an earlier letter which the school was reported to have written in response to an enquiry to verify his history  in the school the Principal Mallam Alhassan Isyaku apologised that there was an inadvertent a mix up. The letter addressed to the Chairman of the Kogi East EldersForum, Chief Gabriel Aduku, said its earlier response was an error of omission.  "After additional investigation of our archieved records I confirm that the Muritala Yakubu with registration number 14667 was a student of the college from 1996 to 1998. However he did not sit for WAEC in 1998 in the college hence the absence of his name in the 1998 WAEC Gazette.  I apologise for the error and we are available should you need further clarification.
